Gabriel Duncan

CO-Founder | Walking Tree Travel

Gabriel was born and raised in Denver, CO, but it wasn't long before he became obsessed with international travel and adventure. Following this passion, in 2005 he and two childhood friends founded Walking Tree Travel, a student travel organization. Walking Tree's mission is to inspire students on their path to becoming curious, compassionate and engaged global citizens. Today, Walking Tree brings students to over 20 countries on programs that focus on cultural immersion, environmental stewardship, leadership development and community service.

Within the Americas, Gabriel has led/coordinated programs in Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Argentina, Puerto Rico and Cuba. In the office, Gabriel helped secure a licensing agreement with Smithsonian and is active in all aspects of the company. His adventures these days tend to be closer to home with his family in NW Denver, but his search for the best meal under $5 is never ending.
