Jenny Nikaido
Senior Specialist for Community & State Government Relations | Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies
Jenny Nikaido is the Senior Specialist for Community & State Government Relations at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies. In her role, she educates local, state, and federal elected officials, and the surrounding community, about the groundbreaking work Terumo does in the healthcare space, follows pertinent legislation, and actively monitors and engages in policymaking and communications with legislative, executive, and regulatory bodies interested in Terumo’s work. Prior to her current role, she was a Patent and Trademark paralegal at various law firms before joining the legal department at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies 7 years ago.
Currently, she is on the Board of Directors for Jeffco Economic Development Corporation, Leadership Jeffco and CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). She is co-chair for the Government Affairs Committee for Jeffco EDC, CBSA (Colorado BioScience Association) Policy Committee and PAC committees, Colorado Gives Foundation Community Impact Committee, WCCA (West Colfax Community Association), and West Metro Chamber of Commerce. She is also a member of the Colorado Competitive Council (C3). Internally at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, she serves on the DE&I Advisory Council, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night fundraising Committees and the WeWill Women’s Empowerment Associate Resource Group committee.
When not at work or out in the community, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family, especially her 2 Grandsons, outdoor activities, cooking, traveling, reading, crocheting, theater, sports, and happy hours with friends and colleagues.
