Muhammad Ibrahim

Muhammad Ibrahim has a doctorate degree from the Wageningen Agricultural and Research institute in the field of Agriculture and Environmental sciences. He is currently the director for technical cooperation at the Inter American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) and worked as the Director General and as a research professor at CATIE (Tropical agriculture and research and training center) for 30 years. Muhammad has experience on livestock and environment and conducted research on silvopastoral and improved grazing systems which included evaluation on soil health and carbon and designed circular livestock systems to recover degraded pastures, improve nutrient cycling and water use efficiencies. Has graduated more that 100 MSc students and 6 PhDs.
