Patrick Buell

VP of Global Consulting and Co-Founder | Hakkoda

Patrick is a Colorado native, born and raised in Fort Collins CO. He graduated from Regis University with a degree in Computer Science. After college, Patrick left Colorado to serve at-risk youth in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico. This ignited his passion for the Spanish language and the Latin people and culture. But the 120 degree humid summers eventually drove him back to the cool rocky mountain air of home to begin his Career in Technology and Data. Early in his Career he worked for Denver based JCB Partners where he met Erik Duffield, Hakkoda’s CEO and Bob hardin another Hakkoda Co-Founder. Quick trivia the name “JCB” originated from the initials of a popular menu item at one of downtown Denver’s oldest bars. 12 Years after JCB, Patrick reconnected with Erik. When Erik reached out because he needed someone to help him launch Hakkoda who both, “spoke spanish and knew data.”
