Culture Club members, join us on Friday, December 13, for an exclusive tour of Manos Sagrados, led by founder herself and Biennial Board Member Bruce Trujillo!

Founded in the spring of 2023 by Alicia “Bruce” Trujillo, Manos Sagrados is a vibrant space for artists, musicians, and creatives. Bruce was inspired after a Culture Club trip to Mexico City Art Week in 2023 and knew she had to create a special place for community in Denver. The space brings together a venue, artist studios, and a recording studio, while also offering support through booking, management, and consulting services. Trujillo, a queer Chicana with a rich background in radio, talent buying, visual arts, and community collaboration, envisioned Manos Sagrados as a safe, intentional space for BIPOC, femme, 2SLGBTQ+, and disabled communities to thrive creatively. The name, meaning "sacred hands," was inspired by a traditional Indigenous cleansing, symbolizing the balance of creativity, identity, and community.
