Alvaro Romero Chef and owner of La Mesa Restaurant, has been awarded by the gastronomic press as Revelation Chef by Wikén magazine and by the Circle of Gastronomic Chroniclers of Chile, as well as one of the 100 young Leaders of Chile, awarded by El Sábado Magazine of El Mercurio. Member of Mentores x Chile and part of the Avonni Awards Expert Team, specialized in sustainable foods.
Faithful to its philosophy of working with producers from all over Chile, La Mesa's idea is to be able to deliver quality food at more affordable price in the market. The care of the products, the respect for the seasons and its close relationship with the producers reaffirm its cooking style, where simplicity is transformed into sophisticated dishes that combine in harmony the flavors and aromas that the land offers.
