Nicole Bruskewitz
Nicole Bruskewitz, a native of Chicago and has been living and working in education in Colombia for the past 10 years. She studied Literature at the University of Iowa and earned her Masters in Education from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, where she studied as a Rotary Scholar. She worked as a language teacher in Chicago Public Schools advocating for bilingual and bicultural education. In Colombia, she has worked as a professor-researcher at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia and her published research centers on student motivation and empowerment. She has been a teacher trainer for Enseña por Colombia (Colombia’s Teach for America equivalent). Currently, she is the Director of Education and Programs at Coschool, a Bogotá-based B Corporation focused on promoting social emotional learning and wellbeing in youth and educators in post-conflict Colombia. She is an educational consultant, teacher trainer and the founder of Bilingual Brains, a translation, editing and educational consulting firm.
