Sean Hertel
Sean Hertel is a bit of a misfit planner. For over 20 years Sean has practiced in a variety of positions and roles, forging connections across a range of disciplines that have included regional municipal planning, development, journalism, transportation, housing, social equity and academia. He applies this diversity to his small Toronto-based planning practice, which provides advice to municipalities on how to plan and grow around transit. He is also a Lecturer in the planning schools at the University of Waterloo and Ryerson University, and is a Researcher at the City Institute at York University. Sean is a Registered Professional Planner and a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners.
