Lone Tree Mayor Jackie Millet is a solutions-oriented leader with a proven record of consensus-building and successful collaboration. Her years of experience as a Registered Civil Engineer, Planning Commissioner, Council Member, and Mayor have afforded Jackie the opportunity to work with a broad range of citizen, business, and government stakeholders at the local, state, and federal levels to provide real solutions for community challenges.
Mayor Millet’s priorities include delivering an innovative, customer-focused local government, investing in a visionary transportation network, supporting the attraction and growth of a vibrant business community, development of exceptional community amenities, and a commitment to a welcoming, safe community.
Jackie has been acknowledged as a distinguished regional leader advancing solutions to transportation and housing challenges facing the Denver metro region. She has represented Lone Tree on a broad range of local, regional, and state bodies, including Chair of the Metro Mayors Caucus, Chair of the Denver Regional Council of Governments, Chair of the Denver South Transportation Management Association, the Regional Air Quality Council, the Reimagine RTD Committee, the RTD Accountability Committee, and the Denver South Economic Development Partnership.
Jackie was recently appointed to the newly created State Middle Income Housing Authority and the Colorado Energy Office Future of Gas Steering Committee. Jackie values her reputation as an accessible leader willing to tackle complex issues.
