Francesca Borgonovo
ALGO/LAGO
Francesca Borgonovo has a formal training in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano and in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths College of London.
She moved her first steps into the world of Contemporary Art galleries in 2014 at Pippy Houldsworth, London and then at Galleria Antonia Jannone Disegni di Architettura in Milan, where her background in Architecture met her interest in exhibition management and the art market.
In 2017, she moved to Mexico City and started working at OMR, one of the most prominent contemporary art galleries in the country. Most recently Francesca was appointed director of LAGO/ALGO, OMR’s most ambitious project so far. LAGO/ALGO, is a new project conceived as a platform to connect with the community through art, culture, architecture, and gastronomy.
