Juan Pablo Murra Lascurain

Juan Pablo Murra Lascurain is Rector for Higher Education at Tecnológico of Monterrey and professor of family business and corporate governance.
Prior to his current role, Murra held various positions at Tec as Vice President for Development & External Affairs, Dean of the Business School & EGADE Business School, and Vice President for Planning and Transformation. He served as Secretary of the Board of Trustees of our institution from February 2012 to February 2020.
For 11 years he worked at McKinsey & Company, where he served clients in the private, social and public sectors. He led projects in the energy, consumer goods, retail, education, philanthropy, and private equity sectors, with clients in Mexico, the United States, Russia, Colombia, and Brazil.
Currently serves as Vice President of the Board at Consejo Cívico (Civic Council of Institutions of Nuevo León) and member of the Board at Eugenio Garza Lagüera Entrepreneurship Institute.
Juan Pablo holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
