In the year of 2019, the Youth Congress of the Americas (YCSA) demonstrated its unwavering commitment to collaboration and knowledge exchange in the pursuit of a more sustainable future for the Americas. Active participation in joint campaigns with The Nature Conservancy (TNC), including the impactful #elvalordelanaturaleza campaign, saw delegates from seven countries - Argentina, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada - coming together to advocate for environmental conservation and awareness. Furthermore, the YCSA organized various events to foster dialogue and share experiences among delegates, such as the Escazú Agreement discussions. Notably, the annual meeting convened in 2019 brought together 85 delegates representing 29 cities from 15 countries across the Americas, showcasing the YCSA's dedication to facilitating meaningful exchanges and collaborative efforts on a regional scale.
