Amanda Blaurock
Executive Director, Co-Founder, Board Member - Village Exchange Center
Amanda Blaurock is the lead on this proposed project and is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Village Exchange Center (VEC). She possesses 20 years of experience as a realtor, investor, entrepreneur, developer and lawyer. She has focused her legal practice on international law in both the public and private sectors and has represented the United States, Fortune 100 companies and international entrepreneurs. Amanda has a B.A from Rutgers University in Psychology and Japanese, a J.D. from Temple University and is barred in Colorado, California and Washington, D.C. Amanda brings her legal and business expertise to everything she does, and since co-founding the Village Exchange Center in 2017, has successfully leveraged tens of millions of dollars in government, foundation and private support to quickly grow this young nonprofit into a leading community center in the Denver metro area.
A recognized community leader, her vision for VEC combines social enterprise and empowerment with multicultural and multifaith events and activities that serve Aurora’s diverse immigrant and refugee community.
Amanda has been recognized as an Everyday Hero by the City of Aurora, by the Woman’s Foundation of Colorado as one of 9 Shero Woman Who Inspires Today and Every day, and by the Salvadorenos Residiendo of Colorado “SARCO” for her dedication and commitment to the El Salvadoran Community. She serves on the Anti-Defamation League Board, is the Vice-Chair of the Denver Film Board, and graduated from the Denver Metro Chamber’s Leadership Denver in 2022.
